A note from our Founder and CEO, Jory Lamb
To appreciate who we are it is important to appreciate where we came from.
Starting from very modest beginnings, we began on the rural roads of Alberta Canada, in 1996, with a clear purpose to help small and mid size companies find operational efficiency and managerial effectiveness through the use of technology.
Those early days of working with the people of rural Alberta taught me a lot about what matters and what doesn’t to our customers. More importantly, it taught me a lot about the kind of business leader I wanted to be and the type of people I wanted on the VistaVu team.
Fast forward 21 years later, we have grown to provide mission critical solutions to some of the largest global players in multiple industries (Aerospace and Defense, Life Sciences, Industrial Field Services, Industrial Machinery & Components, Food & Beverage and High Tech). During this period, we have never lost our commitment to help the small business owner or the appreciation of the economic and social importance of the people in rural North America.
Over that same period, we have gathered a technically excellent team of kind people of which many have become owners of VistaVu. People who succeed at VistaVu, I believe are the same type of people that you want to work with. They are resourceful, they are driven, they are intelligent and they genuinely care, like I do, about the success of our customers. While we are most certainly not perfect, we are constantly striving to be a long-term partner with our clients and bring outstanding value and service every day. If we make a mistake, our people will be the first to stand up, own it and make it right.

Meet our Executive Team
Founder and CEO
Jory Lamb is an MBA graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School of Business and a graduate of the University of Saskatchewan with a degree in Commerce. Throughout his career, Jory has successfully started and sold several technology based businesses. Under Jory’s leadership, VistaVu Solutions success has been recognized by Inc Magazine (Inc 5000), Profit Magazine (Profit 500) and Venture Magazine (Fast Growth 50), winning each award multiple times. VistaVu has also been recognized for its ethical practice by winning the Better Business Bureau ethics award twice.
Outside of work, Jory is a passionate fan of the entrepreneurial spirit. In 2010, he founded the Calgary EO Accelerator Program, which helps budding entrepreneurs break through $1 million USD in sales. From 2014 to 2016, Jory sat as a director of the Wharton Entrepreneurs Club and sat on the MBA advisory board for the Wharton program in San Francisco.
Logy has been with VistaVu Solutions since 2013 and is responsible for all day-to-day operations of the organization including Customer Service, Sales, Services, Support, Finance and Administration.
Logy has over two decades of experience in oil and gas, ERP implementation and consulting services globally. Before joining VistaVu, he held three Vice-President positions (Strategic Systems Migration, Global Sourcing, Sales and Supply Chain) with National Oilwell Varco in Houston and Calgary over a 12-year period.
Logy previously served as Senior Principal Consultant with DMR Management in Calgary, preceded by a role as Principal Consultant with Price Waterhouse in Houston.
Jos De Smedt
Chief Financial Officer
Jos is a senior executive with over 25 years of experience in business operations and finance across a range of industries for both private and public companies. In his CFO and CEO roles, he has worked for startups driving revenues from $0 to $65 Million as well as for large professional services companies like PWC for 17 years and IBM for 5 years. He has experience in growing companies both organically navigating funding, grants and investments; as well as inorganic growth through acquisitions. Focused on operational execution and an unwavering commitment to get the job done, Jos adheres to strong values of integrity, accountability, transparency and teamwork.
Vice President, Customer Experience
Lezli has been with VistaVu for several years. As the VP of Customer Experience, Lezli and her team have been focused on introducing programs to increase VistaVu’s understanding of our customer’s journey as well as new initiatives for continuous improvement. The mission is to deliver value to our customers and an experience they want to share. Lezli’s previous roles include VP Operations, Marketing, and Product Development for various companies. Lezli graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a degree in Management and Information Systems.
Tony Balasubramanian CMC, CBIP, CCP
Vice President, Integration Services
As a former Partner at PWC and MNP, Tony brings over 27 years of IT and management consulting to Fortune 1000 companies. He has 30 years in shared-services, infrastructure ops, business continuity and ERP. Tony’s focus is strategy, workforce optimization, operation efficiency and effective us of technology. Some of Tony’s Serviced Customers include: BHP, Cameco, Husky, CNOOC Nexen, Petro-Canada, ENMAX, Altalink, Devon and others.
